Jūrmala ir viena no manām iemīļotajām pilsētām. Esmu tajā dzīvojusi un strādājusi. Šoreiz biju te grūtā un vienlaikus gaišā brīdī kopā ar meitu Ievu. Tas bija arī mūsu plenērs. Nosaucu to par "Ziedputekšņu jūru". Jūnija sākumā jūras piekraste ir pilna dzeltenu ziedputekšņu. Tie ir ūdenī, krastā, gaisā un mūsu gleznās.

Jurmala is one of my favorite cities. I have lived and worked there. This time I was here in a difficult and at the same time bright moment with my daughter Ieva. It was also our plein air. I call it the "Pollen Sea". In early June, the sea coast is full of yellow pollen. They are in the water, on the shore, in the air and in our paintings.
